A look back at 2016

When we launched this site in October 2015, it came with the promise that we were ready to listen and improve our airline based on your feedback. As evidence of that promise, 2016 was a record-breaking year for United in terms of performance, customer satisfaction and employee engagement. In the spirit of sharing our actions, here is a recap of last year’s highlights:

  • The most on-time arrivals in company history
  • The fewest cancellations in company history
  • The fewest delays in company history
  • The fewest mishandled bags in company history,with 12 consecutive record-setting months for Mishandled Baggage Rate
  • The fewest misconnected passengers in company history
  • Twenty days when 100% of our mainline flights completed, more than the previous five years combined

As proud as we are of them, we know those milestones are just the beginning and that there is still more work to be done. We hope that you can feel the difference when you fly United, and we thank you for sharing your thoughtful questions and ideas with us over the past year. Please keep them coming.
